We care about what happens to old furniture and aim to recycle as much furniture as possible. The items in our collections that can’t be reused are recycled for their components where possible. We take all unusable furniture to a local waste recycling centre in Chesterfield, Hopkinson Waste, who recycle everything. We hold a waste carriers license which is viewable on the environment agency website if you search ‘Morris Chesterfield LTD ‘. We are also insured and hold public and employers liability insurance.
Our business waste service and where we cover
We generally service a radius of 20 miles of Chesterfield but we are always available to cover any town or city in the UK if required. The counties we work in are Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and parts of Lincolnshire. We can easily cover all the major towns and villages within these counties. Offices need clearing for a number of reasons such as relocation, downsizing, upsizing, modernisation or, unfortunately, bankruptcy. We can either clear a full office or a part office, depending on your requirements. We can collect and recycle all types of desks, office chairs, book cases, computer equipment, office screens, sofas & chairs, TVs, fridges, microwaves and much more.
We recycle as much as possible
Good usable furniture will be offered to local charities or recycled for components such as the wood, metal and plastics. Unfortunately, we do not buy any office equipment or furniture unless it is retro or vintage office furniture such as desks and chairs. Did you know that we can destroy IT equipment such as Hard drives, laptops, PC towers, data sticks and mobile phones? All the hard drives are punched with the hard drive press, shoving a large spike through the hard drive making it completely unusable and the contents of the hard drive obsolete.Any other components such as PC towers and laptops minus the hard drives are also recycled for their components.
